I do think, however, that most papers need to take a serious look at what they're printing and why. A lot of what papers do "by tradition" is because the paper used to be a "pretty good tool" for the job. Of course now, for most of those things (classifieds come to mind), the internet is far better. Frankly, I don’t pick up the paper version of very many dailies anymore, so I can’t tell you with much authority.
